Sometimes i get quite annoyed at people who grumble a lot. i admit that i myself do grumble as well, and i realise it seldom does anything good but to stir up even more discontent and a complaining spirit. When we complain and grumble, we are generally expecting something to happen on our behalf which has not happened or there is a general expectation of entitlement which has not been met.
Lord Jesus, may i be forgiven for self-centred grumbling and bringing friction into what is already a desperate world. When the world pushes me to grumble, let me have wisdom to turn to you for help. Let me cultivate a godly response to entitlement and expectation.
