Israel has been God’s first love and the bible reveals a God who pursues and covenants with this stubborn child and finally ends in the redemption of the remnant of Israel.

However you look at it, Israel is at the center of God’s heart. We were the in grafted branches to the chosen race, we are partakers in God’s redemption of Israel through grace.

The bible says that we were created also for good works that God himself had prepared for us in advance. Let us find both good works in our daily lives along with an awareness of God’s heart to also call in His nation, Israel.

Lord, I pray for the nation of Israel, that you love and have given your covenant of redemption. I know you desire their faith in you, I know your heart aches to see the war going on. Open our eyes and hearts to receive and understand how we can help our brothers and sisters in the promise land. May I be available for your purpose Lord.
